Every month brings new adventures, new lessons, as well as new findings. Our goal at Heal the World is to share these with you by sending out a monthly newsletter.

We already sent out our January 2014 Newsletter. You didn’t receive it? Don’t worry, just subscribe to our Newsletter at the bottom of our website and we will include you in next month’s newsletter. This way, you will stay up to date with important events and news from us! Click here if you would like to read our January 2014 Newsletter!

Here are some of the things discussed in our Newsletter:

  • When we opened our center, we envisioned a smooth and easy transition from the home therapy to the center-based therapy sessions. We can proudly say that we were right- Our kids have been very happy at the center, enjoying the new toys as well as playing with their peers. The progress they have made and their enthusiasm throughout their sessions is just one way of showing us their gratitude. Therefore, we wanted to THANK YOU, the parents, for helping us through this transition. We hope you have enjoyed it as much as they have.

  • We are happy to have Natalie Enriquez-Astorga on our team! Natalie earned her Masters of Science degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology at Carlos Albizu University in 2012. She had the opportunity of working directly with children on the autism spectrum in 2009, teaching them language and academic skills, using the methods of Applied Behavior Analysis. She is currently working towards her certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). To read more about Natalie, visit our website and our therapy team this upcoming week.
  • We have a New Office Number: (305) 279-1999 To be used for all calls during regular business hours: Monday-Friday, 9a.m.- 6:30p.m.
