Claudia first had the opportunity to work directly with children on the autism spectrum as a therapist in 2007. Since then, she has worked with numerous children of various ethnicities, backgrounds, and related disorders as well as typical children exhibiting problem behaviors in clinical settings, family homes, and schools.

Claudia specializes in the development, implementation, and supervision of Verbal Behavior Programs in both English and Spanish. She focuses on teaching and supervising the implementation of language skills, academic skills, social and play skills, as well as self-help skills and problem behaviors. Claudia also conducts parent and therapist training with the utilization of behavior analytic principles and implements intensive toilet training programs as well as feeding programs for children with very limited food intake due to sensory issues or behavioral concerns.

Claudia’s daily goal is to make life-changing moments for the children and families she serves, by increasing each child’s functional communication skills while decreasing their problem behaviors. She regularly attends workshops and trainings to remain current in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Claudia has presented research at various conferences and is a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI), the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis (FABA), as well as the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts (APBA).
