Claudia Mármol, M.A., BCBA
President and Founder
Claudia Mármol is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and the President and Founder of Heal the World Behavioral Services, LLC. She is a Venezuelan native who received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida International University. She then went on to pursue a Masters of Arts degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of South Florida.
More InformationClaudia specializes in the development, implementation, and supervision of Verbal Behavior Programs in both English and Spanish. She focuses on teaching and supervising the implementation of language skills, academic skills, social and play skills, as well as self-help skills and problem behaviors. Claudia also conducts parent and therapist training with the utilization of behavior analytic principles and implements intensive toilet training programs as well as feeding programs for children with very limited food intake due to sensory issues or behavioral concerns.
Claudia’s daily goal is to make life-changing moments for the children and families she serves, by increasing each child’s functional communication skills while decreasing their problem behaviors. She regularly attends workshops and trainings to remain current in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Claudia has presented research at various conferences and is a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI), the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis (FABA), as well as the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts (APBA).

More InformationCarolina became interested in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis after seeing the positive effects it had on a family member. Since then, it has been her passion to help her clients reach their individual goals and acquire new skill sets. Over the years, Carolina has worked with a range of clients in various settings including home, clinical, and school. She has experience working in verbal behavior acquisition programs such as requesting wants and needs, independent play, social skills, listener skills, matching skills, conversational skills and identifying objects. Additionally, she has worked with clients and their caregivers to reduce problem behaviors in areas such as transitions, physical aggression, waiting, property destruction, attending, repetitive behaviors, food refusal, noncompliance, and biting.
Carolina regularly attends workshops and trainings to remain current in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. She is excited to continue to share her passion for ABA with others and continue to grow within this field.

Sydnie Pena, B.S., BCaBA

Sydnie Pena is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).

During her time at FIU, Sydnie was involved in a research study looking at the effects of ADHD on working memory in children. Soon after, she joined the field of ABA in 2015 and began her work as an RBT. She was employed for three years in a private school/therapy center in which she had the chance to experience working with children from ages 2 to 13 with a wide range of problem behaviors within both a classroom and clinical setting.
Sydnie is enthusiastic to learn more about Applied Behavior Analysis each day and will continue her career with the intention to leave a print on each child and family she has the opportunity to work with. She regularly reads, attends trainings and workshops in order to maintain current knowledge in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.

More InformationSince 2012, Vanessa has provided one-on-one therapy to children on the autism spectrum in classroom, clinical, and home settings. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), she implements verbal behavior programs under the supervision of a BCBA. She has conducted toilet training programs, acquisition programs, as well as behavior reduction procedures using the methods of Applied Behavior Analysis. She is experienced and enjoys working with low-functioning learners.
Vanessa is very passionate and cares for her clients. Her ultimate goal is to improve the lifestyle of the children and families she works with by teaching them everyday life skills. She regularly reads, attends trainings and workshops in order to maintain current knowledge in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.

More InformationHeidy has had the opportunity to work with children for the past 7 years. As an RBT, she provides one-on-one therapy to children with ASD under the supervision of a BCBA. She loves working with children, as they have taught her what the true meaning of patience, love, and understanding are. She regularly reads and attends trainings in Behavior Analysis in order to maintain current knowledge in the field.

As an RBT, she provides one-on-one therapy to children under the supervision of a BCBA. She implements acquisition and social skills programs, as well as behavior reduction procedures using the methods of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Arletty is passionate about making a difference in the lives of every client she has the opportunity to work with by helping them reach developmental milestones while decreasing problem behaviors. She regularly reads and attends trainings in Behavior Analysis in order to maintain current knowledge in the field.

Eleni Tsalikis, B.A., RBT

As a Registered Behavior Technician, Eleni implements acquisition and behavior reduction programs under the supervision of a BCBA. She is dedicated to helping clients reach their individual goals and make their time at the center a positive experience.
In addition, Eleni is a post-baccalaureate research assistant at FIU working on independent projects regarding child anxiety and neural functions. In the future, she plans on attending a Clinical Neuroscience PhD program for graduate school. She hopes to one day lead innovative research to improve the treatment of behavioral and developmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
